Tune Trivia

George deWittName That Tune was a television game show that put two contestants against each other to test their knowledge of songs.

Premiering in the United States in the early 1950s, the show was created and produced by Harry Salter and his wife, Roberta.

"Name That Tune" ran from 1953 to 1959 on NBC and CBS in prime time. The first hosts were Red Benson and later Bill Cullen, but George DeWitt became most identified with the show. DeWitt could sing well, which was vital to the show's success; Benson and Cullen did not possess such talents.

Today, our Tune Trivia Show stays true to the old traditions, but we add a new level of fun the the entire process. With music ranging from dozens of different genres, our show is guaranteed to entertain any crowd of any size or age. Running with two entertainers; a DJ and a host, our shows consist of 4 rounds in which players collect points by guessing the name and artist of various songs. But don't think that's the only way to collect points. We throw around bonus points like they were going out of style for rowdiness and general excitment. Plus, you never know what kind of bonus round might be thrown in, from a hula hoop competition to a limbo with a shot glass attached to it, from the Macarena or YMCA to just drinking vinegar (yech!), our hosts are constantly on their toes to bring laughter, excitement, and you know it, consistently better sales, week after week.
